When signing up to Currensea, you create a PIN personal to you. If you need a reminder of your PIN, you can view your PIN by logging into the mobile app, selecting 'Card' and then 'View PIN'.
For security purposes, we are unable to tell you your PIN or change it on your behalf.
If you want to change your PIN, you can do this at any ATM that that accept Mastercard Debit cards and has the a PIN Services/PIN Change function.
If the ATM doesn’t allow for a PIN change, you can use the Mastercard® ATM locator to find a compatible ATM (and locate one which provides/supports PIN Services/PIN Change function).
To change your PIN, you can do this at any ATM (that accepts Mastercard Debit Cards and has a PIN Services / PIN Change function) by following these steps:
- Put your card into the cash machine and enter the PIN you chose when you signed up
- Select PIN services
- Tap Select a new PIN
- Make sure to choose a PIN that can't be easily guessed – e.g. don't use 1111, 1234 or your date of birth
If you have entered your PIN incorrectly too many times, you can unblock it via your mobile app. Simply select 'Card', then tap "Unblock PIN".
Once you have done this, your next transaction needs to be a Chip and PIN transaction at any terminal that accepts Mastercard and processes the transaction in real time. To avoid complications we recommend using an ATM.
