Our Direct Debits will always begin with "CSEA" and will be followed by some more details about the merchant or your Currensea subscription.
This means that if you see "CSEA" on your bank statement or banking app then you shouldn't cancel the Direct Debit. If a Direct Debit is cancelled, your card will be frozen automatically and it can take 4 working days for us to unfreeze it once the Direct Debit mandate is set up again. It can take a further 2-3 working days to unfreeze your card if there were pending transactions when you cancelled the Direct Debit instruction.
