Cashback pending
When you’ve made a successful purchase via a merchant link from the Currensea cashback offers page, the value of your purchase will be recorded in your account. Please note, it can take up to 7 days for your cashback to show in your account as ‘Cashback pending’. ‘Cashback pending’ means your cashback is ‘tracked’ and we are waiting for cashback to come through. It’s in this period that the merchant will check to make sure you’ve met the terms of the offer.
Cashback earned
Your transaction status will be updated from ‘Cashback pending’ to ‘Cashback earned’ after your cashback is approved by the merchant and has been passed on to us.
The approval process can take on average between 1 to 3 months, this is for the merchant's returns period to be over and to reflect the correct cashback amount if the item(s) are being returned. If you’ve returned some of the items within the same purchase, cashback will only be calculated for the non-returned items.
Cashback amounts under ‘Cashback earned’ will be automatically added to ‘Earnings’. This means that your cashback is ready for withdrawal.
Cashback declined
If you don’t follow the terms and conditions of the cashback offer, your cashback may be declined. For any purchases with a full refund, your cashback will also be declined. In these cases, we will update the status of your purchase to ‘Cashback declined’ on your transaction record.
Cashback missed
Merchants participating in the cashback programme require the Currensea card to be used for making payments. Cashback for any purchase without the Currensea card will be deemed ineligible and will be marked as ‘Cashback missed’. To prevent missing any cashback, please remember to use your Currensea card for your chosen cashback offers.
